Trajectory(ies)
Again and again, he listened to the finale of Mozart’s Don Giovanni...
Suddenly, something that disobeyed all the rules, something in the human voice itself, was made heard.
He couldn’t get past the specter of this strange presence, forever appearing before him in different guises: the finite world of guilt was erased in confrontation with the infinite call of the sound conveyed by the silence that suddenly emerged from the sonorous continuum of Don Juan’s cry.
In a flash, a new trajectory passed through him. He gave this fleeting passerby a smile:
After his Masters, he had been determined to find a place for himself: he became a Psychologist, then a Doctor, and finally a Psychiatrist. But did he in fact have the enjoyment of these titles he possessed?
This question was the wager of a certain psychoanalysis, whose true stakes appeared one day on the stage of a theater, at the same moment that a witticism pricked up his ear to the creative power of signifyingness (signifiance) as such:
“A passeur (conveyor) was required in order to hear it, Alain Didier-Weill.”
Dionysus had accepted Apollo’s invitation, the baroque was joining forces with the classicism of yesteryear…This recognition would turn out to have a future: Insistance had got its start.
